Veteran players are defined as ladies over 50 and men over 55. ROMPA has entered the Sussex Mixed Veterans Summer League with a team in each of the East and Mid-Sussex Leagues. Each team consists of four players with the two pairs from each team playing both the opposing pairs. Matches will be two sets each with a tie break at six all and a further Championship tie break (10) if the match is one set each. Matches, home and away, are played on weekdays only starting at 6.30 pm and there are currently five teams in each League.

Friendly matches against local clubs on weekdays only are planned starting around 4.00 pm. ROMPA has also accepted an invitation to join the LTA Sussex Mixed Weekday Summer League (for all age groups) with one team of four starting in May.
